About LA PURPLE
100% LGBTQIA+, 100% pop
La Purple describes itself as “the 100% LGBTQIA+ and 100% pop event that invites you to come as you are, in an atmosphere of total and mandatory mutual respect”. The name says it all: neither pink nor blue. From what we saw during our visit, the crowd is very young, often aged between 18 and 22, with plenty of girls. There’s no dress code. Entry is restricted to those aged 18 and over, and the organisers warn that they will refuse entry – with no refund – in the event of sexist, homophobic, racist, fatphobic or transphobic remarks.
One night, one theme
Each Purple event has its own theme, often a pop icon or an era. This year’s programme has included ‘Brat x Future Nostalgia’, ‘Mayhem x Artpop’ (an entire night dedicated to Lady Gaga, with music videos on a giant screen), ‘TikTok Made Me Dance’, ‘Back to the 2000s’, ‘From disco to Brat’, ‘Life in Plastic’ and ‘Khia Asylum’, dedicated to underrated pop girls, from Kesha to Carly Rae Jepsen. The DJs blend contemporary pop, hyperpop and classics to sing along to.

In Paris, La Purple rotates between major clubs: the YOYO, beneath the Palais de Tokyo, where she held her summer 2026 residency; the Club Haussmann; the Bridge Club; the Solum; and the Gibus for a ‘Last Dance’. She also goes on tour: in Lille at the Slay Club and the Slalom; in Lyon at the Bâtiment des Douanes; in Nantes, Rennes and Brussels. Summer on the Seine: the Purple Cruise
In the summer of 2026, the collective launched its first cruise, running almost every Sunday from mid-June to early August. Boarding at the Pont d’Austerlitz, the terrace opens at 6 pm, departure at 8 pm past the Hôtel de Ville, the Louvre, the Grand Palais and the Trocadéro, returning to the quay around 11 pm. Two levels: an open-air deck and an air-conditioned club. From what we saw on our visit, the atmosphere there is more relaxed – you can have a drink whilst watching Paris go by – whereas the club nights go on until 6 am.
Good to know
Based on our visit: arrive no later than an hour after opening to avoid the queue, move towards the back of the club when the dance floor is packed, and leave 30 to 45 minutes before closing time if you want to avoid the queue at the cloakroom.
Our team's take
During our visit, we found a very young crowd, mostly aged between 18 and 22, with plenty of girls. This fits in well with the Purple ethos, which is designed to be neither pink nor blue. Everyone dresses as they please: there’s no dress code. At the bar, we noticed drinks costing 12 euros. The cloakroom costs 2 euros per item and 4 euros for a bag. When the dance floor is packed, we suggest you move a little further back to get some fresh air. Our advice: leave 30 to 45 minutes before the end if you want to avoid the rush at the cloakroom.

What sort of music is played at La Purple parties?
Mainly pop: contemporary pop, hyperpop and classics from the 2000s to sing along to, with a different theme each night (Lady Gaga, Brat, Back to the 2000s, underrated pop girls…). From what we saw on our visit, there’s a bit of everything, and the atmosphere really picks up as the night goes on.
Where do the La Purple parties take place in Paris?
No fixed address: the YOYO beneath the Palais de Tokyo (summer venue for 2026), the Club Haussmann, the Bridge Club or the Solum, and in the summer, the Purple Cruise departing from the Pont d’Austerlitz. Each date specifies its venue.
What’s the dress code for coming along to the party?
There is no dress code. You can come dressed however you like, whether it’s casual or smart.
What are the prices at the bar and the cloakroom?
At the venue, expect to pay €12 for a drink at the bar. The cloakroom charge is €2 per item and €4 per bag.
What is the minimum age for entry?
Ages 18 and over; valid ID must be shown. The collective reserves the right to refuse entry, without refund, in the event of drunkenness or discriminatory remarks.
How do I buy an admission ticket?
On Shotgun, via the link for each date. At clubs, tickets cost around €15 to €25, with the first ticket sometimes free; the Purple Cruise costs between €20 and €40. Tickets sell out quickly.
Does La Purple organise events outside Paris?
