About Les Follivores

One-hit wonders, all-time classics

Les Follivores is the party where the whole room sings along. The collective describes it as ‘a night full of madness, celebration and good cheer, featuring all the hits you’ve loved over the last 20 years’, and its motto can be summed up in a single line: ‘one-hit wonders, timeless classics’. On the programme: French pop and cult hits, from Dalida to Mylène Farmer, spanning the 80s and 90s, as well as major international hits. When we were there, the dancefloor was singing along to the lyrics.

A Parisian nightlife institution

La Nuit des Follivores has long been a fixture at the Bataclan, taking place every other Saturday from midnight, according to Time Out. It gave rise to a sister event, Les Crazyvores, which shares the same spirit but features international hits. The two events sometimes come together, as was the case for the ‘Madonna Special II’ at the Gibus in July 2026.

One party, one star

Several events pay tribute to a single icon: Céline Dion on 5 September 2026, to celebrate her return to the stage in Paris, and Madonna for the first event in Lille. On these nights, some of the audience get into the spirit of things by dressing up. The Pride editions celebrate pride: the event on 3 October 2026 also marked the anniversaries of Les Coqs Festifs and Gare!, two LGBT sports associations.

Where and when

The event takes place roughly once a month, on Saturdays, from 11.30 pm or midnight until 6 am. In Paris, it’s mainly held at Club Haussmann on Rue Taitbout – which we recommend for its well-designed layout – and occasionally at the Gibus, near République. It also goes on tour, for example to the Slay Club in Lille. All the dates are listed on this page and in Gay, lesbian and queer parties, clubs and nightspots in Paris.

Good to know

Based on our visit: arrive within an hour of opening to avoid the queue; the dancefloor really starts to fill up around 1am. At the bar, expect to pay €12 for a glass of spirits; access to the bar and cloakroom is smooth.

Our team's take

During our visit, we found a great atmosphere, with the dancefloor humming along to the lyrics. The crowd consists mainly of people in their thirties and forties, though there are some younger people too. We’d particularly recommend the nights at Club Haussmann: the venue is well laid out. To avoid the queue at the entrance, we recommend arriving within an hour of opening, before the dancefloor fills up around 1 am. At the bar, a shot costs €12, and access to both the bar and the cloakrooms is smooth.
