Nantes has two saunas. Le Steamer, at 4 bis Rue Baron, near the Cité des Congrès, is a gay sauna open every day: from noon Monday to Friday, and from 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Entry costs €18, €12 for 25–29-year-olds and €10 for 18–24-year-olds. A reduced rate applies three hours before closing: €15, €10 and €8.
The B4 Sauna Club is in Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, east of Nantes. It is not exclusively a gay sauna: it alternates between gay, swinger and ‘all orientations’ sessions. The gay sessions, known as ‘100% guys’, take place in the afternoon, from 2 pm to 6 pm, every day except Thursday, and until 7 pm on Saturdays. Entry costs €18, or €12 for 18–29-year-olds. Sunday afternoons are naturist, with a foam party on the first Sunday of the month and a bears’ afternoon on the third.
The opening hours for each sauna are listed on its details page. Download the Agenda LGBT app for the map and to save your favourites.
