From community café to night-time bar

Located at 182 Rue Saint-Martin in the 3rd arrondissement, Les Aimant·e·s has taken over from the former Bar’Ouf and welcomes you every day from 3.30 pm to 2 am. The venue operates in two distinct modes. From when it opens in the afternoon, you can enjoy a calm and bright atmosphere, ideal for working on your laptop, flicking through activist fanzines or chatting in hushed tones.

From 9.00 pm, the place transforms. The tables are pushed aside to make way for an improvised dance floor. On evenings with DJ sets (queer pop, electro, techno or reggaeton), the air-conditioned indoor room fills up very quickly and the energy becomes festive and activist.

A FLINTA* community and regular events

The bar explicitly identifies as a FLINTA* space (women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender). Its clientele, mainly aged between 20 and 35, comprises a strong lesbian core and a significant presence of trans and non-binary people. Cisgender men remain very much in the minority here, and intrusive behaviour is immediately addressed.

The bar also organises regular events, notably the ‘Gouine Win’ games sessions, featuring board games, card games and feminist blind tests.

Good to know

For the ‘Gouine Win’ sessions, regulars recommend arriving 30 to 45 minutes before the start to secure a seat. The same advice applies to the terrace: aim to arrive before 7 pm at the weekend, before the outdoor area closes around 10 pm or 11 pm.

In the evenings and at weekends, reviews highlight the festive and activist energy fuelled by DJ sets, with the dance floor often packed.
