Ipséité: Pōnky, Kandelissa B2b Prance & More

IPSÉITÉ - BACK TO THE ROOTS OF TECHNO Detroit, the 1980s. Techno takes shape. Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson; the Belleville Three lay the foundations for a new sound. A music that quickly becomes a space of freedom and community for Black, queer and marginalised communities, outside established norms. Then the sound travelled. It crossed borders, eras and scenes, all the way to Paris, where it found a venue that, too, has stood the test of time: La Java, open since 1923 and now one of the oldest clubs still operating in Paris. On 21 November, Ipséité returns to its roots. Mental. Groovy. Raw. Three ways to bring the sound to life, to pay tribute to those who shaped it, to uphold its values and, above all, to keep inventing what comes next. From 11pm to 7am, Ipséité takes over La Java for a night entirely dedicated to that original energy, with a five-star line-up and an interactive experience centred around the modular synthesiser, to be discovered and experimented with throughout the party. On the programme: 8 hours of Mental, Groovy and Raw sounds A modular synth workshop Team RDR and Bienveillance New D&B sound system A party driven by LGBTQIA+ values and the fight against all forms of discrimination to ensure a safer space for everyone. Solidarity tickets at €5.99 available by contacting Ipséité on Instagram (DOLLS, students, jobseekers, RSA recipients, AAH recipients, etc.). - La Java aims to be an inclusive venue, welcoming all communities. No form of sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, persecution or harassment will be tolerated within the club.
