Dyketopia Heaven

It’s back-to-school time, and Dyketopia is coming to the new venue at the Bal Chavaux on 29 August! DJs and performances: Parajdis Haley Ize Orion Ceyla Founded by and for dykes, queer, trans and non-binary people, the collective was born out of a need to reclaim spaces on the dancefloor, on stage and in the nightlife scene. We present energetic, percussive, groovy and hypnotic techno sets, whilst exploring hybrid genres that blend Latin bass & core, baile funk, trance, hard music and other transgender influences. Our programme transcends the rigid boundaries of musical genres and reflects the diversity of our communities. Dyketopia is a vision of a world where all forms of dyke and queer artistic expression are celebrated. We prioritise safer spaces and kindness. Oppressive behaviour has no place here. NO TERF. NO SWERF.
