From the terrace to the dancefloor

Located at 67 Boulevard de la Bastille in the 12th arrondissement, Chez Mylène overlooks the Bassin de l’Arsenal. The venue is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 6 pm to 2 am. Entry is free. In the early evening, you can enjoy the view from the waterside terrace with beers at 9–10 euros, bottles of wine at around 30 euros and cocktails ranging from 9 to 18 euros depending on size. As for food, the menu offers pizzas and platters at reasonable prices.

The atmosphere starts to liven up around 9 pm, before the party really gets going. Inside, there’s a dance floor with lively pop DJ sets. You can also attend viewing parties with drag shows, which are very popular with the crowd. The clientele consists of people aged 20 to 40, predominantly gay, whilst warmly welcoming allies. The bar staff are friendly and provide a free cloakroom.

Good to know

To make the most of your evening, plan to arrive between 10 pm and midnight. Turn up around 8 pm if you want to be sure of a table, or book via the link on their Instagram account.

Layout and accessibility

The venue makes it easy to find a quiet spot to chat when the music gets louder inside. Please note that there are steps to navigate and that the toilets are in the basement. It gets significantly busier from Thursday to Saturday evenings. You can pop in for a drink at the bar, have dinner or dance until closing time.

Our team's take

We love settling down on the terrace overlooking the harbour before the club really comes to life around 9 pm. For us, the ideal time is definitely between 10 pm and midnight to enjoy the dance floor with the pop DJ sets. The staff are really friendly, and the free cloakroom is a real practical bonus. It’s very gay, but open to everyone. We also appreciate being able to slip away easily for a chat when the music gets loud. Just remember to book a table via their Instagram if you want to eat in peace.
