Friday 9 October marks the return of your seasonal fixture, Hair’n Mydia – Marseille’s hairiest 🧔‍♀️ parties!!! For this (eighth) autumn edition, the concept remains the same: bringing together performers with remarkable hair – all 100 per cent Marseille-born and bred – for one party! {JUL hand sign emoji} This edition, entitled ‘Seasonal Depression’, will take place on Friday 9 October – the perfect chance to dig out your cosiest outfits and enjoy some Irish coffees. On the programme: an after-work get-together with the girls from 6 pm to 8.30 pm, just for the fun of watching drag queens who aren’t quite ready yet 🤭 from 8.30 pm, some surprise quiz-style games 😉 followed by a three-part drag show from 9 pm to 11.30 pm – simple and effective 👌 finally, from 11.30 pm to 2 am, a bitchy 2000s pop DJ set by Clara. During the party, you’ll get to admire (yes, truly admire – I hope to see at least a trickle of drool running down your chin) some incredible performances from your mistress of ceremonies and favourite bus-loving madcap, Clara Mydia. As well as her exceptional guests: Pamla Moore Sunshne, the queen of the bears, and Eneko, our drag king and socially conscious queer poet.
