Marseille’s gay bars are spread across the Cours Julien and La Plaine, Les Réformés and La Joliette. BOUM, on Rue André-Poggioli, is a bar that feels like a club, with DJ sets and karaoke from Tuesday to Sunday, with free entry. Le Pulse, on the Cours Julien, is an LGBTQIA+-friendly bar open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 5 pm to 2 am. L’Annexe, on Rue Saint-Bazile in Les Réformés, starts with drinks on the terrace from Thursday to Sunday before turning up the volume around 11 pm.
