Les Incandescent.e.s is a festival intended to be annual to begin with, and then touring – with a programme focused on emerging women, non-binary and trans artists. All aspects of the organisation, technical operations and programme highlight women and gender minorities in each of these fields, with a genuine commitment (and indeed a necessity) to showcase people from racial minority backgrounds. From music to drag shows and performances, a round-table discussion, a craft market and games, we aim to use culture and art to serve society through this festival. We also aim to offer new ways of celebrating without exploiting other animals. As such, the festival is entirely vegan. Les Incandescent.e.s is a queer, vegan, feminist and intersectional festival, open to everyone. It is the festival of new imaginations.
