Jen Cardini x MUTEK x Nightclubing

On Sunday 18 October, from 7pm to midnight, DJ and producer Jen Cardini, as part of their Nightclubbing series of events, is teaming up with the Montreal-based MUTEK festival. This collaboration came about quite naturally, as Jen has developed a genuine connection with Montreal and its scene over the years. In particular, they have had the opportunity to perform at MUTEK and collaborate with artists from Quebec and across Canada. This is an opportunity to discover a glimpse of their programme of electronic music and digital arts, whose curation – as curious as it is discerning – makes it an essential reference on the international stage. The line-up will feature live sets from Honeydrip and Tati au Miel, rising stars of the Montreal scene, as well as DJ and producer Maara—also originally from Montreal and now a key figure on the international electronic scene—in a b2b set with Jen Cardini. Nightclubbing, a series of events organised by DJ and producer Jen Cardini Focusing on queer and FLINTA artists, and combining club nights, curated events and international collaborations, the project has notably worked with Raum (Amsterdam), Outra Cena (Lisbon), RSO (Berlin) and Basement (New York). Nightclubbing is committed to collaborating with venues and festivals that share its values of inclusivity, community-building and cultural sensitivity, particularly towards marginalised voices.
