VÉNUS CLUB INVITE ELKKA

Because we absolutely loved taking over our favourite club – aka the legendary Rex Club, no less – we’re back as a crew for a second Takeover on Saturday 26 September. For the occasion, we’re inviting a very special guest straight from across the Channel: Elkka! A British queer producer and DJ, Elkka’s musical world is experienced through a ‘female gaze’: she champions an authentic vision of queer freedom and sensuality. She creates electronic music that is both intoxicating and cavernous, drawing inspiration from Chicago house and disco, leftfield techno and UK bass. In her sets, heavy, repetitive beats clash before blending with shimmering, syrupy vocals to create a real club energy! To complement Elkka’s old-school house groove, members of the Vénus Club line-up will take turns setting the dancefloor alight: Bouncy House, progressive trance, breaks, UK garage and acid sounds… Unprecedented B2B sets not to be missed: Aïphra x Sainte Exp, Belatrix x Vickies, Clo x La Chikh 🫶! 🎨 Graphic design: Clémence Gouy
