Boots Barn Dance: Queer Line Dance & Partner Dancing | 26.08
Boots is a queer western dance event featuring line dancing and various country partner dance styles. Throwing out all heteronormative dance etiquette, we dance to feel good in our bodies and we embrace all forms of expression. It’s designed for all skill levels; beginners, you’re very welcome here! Let’s come together as a community, learn some choreography, dance with fellow queers and watch those who want to show off! Lessons will be taught in English and the first lesson begins PROMPTLY at 8 pm. We’ll have several lessons throughout the evening as we learn together. There’ll be opportunities to show off between sessions, so send your requests on Instagram to @bootslinedancing. Bring your own style – there’s no dress code! Step out in your cowboy boots, trainers, heels or any shoes you like, as long as they’re comfortable for dancing. This event is BYOB, but you can refill your water bottle on site. Everyone is welcome to this queer-centred event; all genders, sexualities and identities. The safety of our queer community is of the utmost importance, so please report any unsafe or questionable behaviour. --- Boots is a queer western dance event featuring line dancing and various styles of country partner dancing.
