For their Volume 12, Les Volumineuses are setting up shop at the VK for another day dedicated to music, partying and creativity! On the programme: the classic Volumes favourites — live sets, DJ sets, tattoos, gems… — as well as a few new additions, including drag bingo! Throughout the day, you’ll also find performances and various stalls and spaces to chill with your mates, treat yourself and let your creativity run wild: hairstyling, gems, tattoos… Featuring Jaffa, AEL, Chose and Liv Del Estal in concert, Fatoosan on the decks and Wenjazz on the mic. The full line-up will be revealed shortly. Les Volumineuses is a Brussels-based collective that showcases gendered artists — anyone who has experienced sexism — by offering them a space for expression and visibility, in a festive, inclusive and supportive setting. Organising two to three micro-festivals a year, Les Volumineuses offer days that are as chilled as they are explosive, with each edition reinventing itself according to the venue, the line-up and the atmosphere. A conscious pricing system so that everyone can take part To ensure Les Volumineuses remain accessible to everyone, we offer a ‘conscious’ pricing structure rather than a single price: four different rates for the same day, and everyone chooses the one that best suits their situation and means. - €7 — Solidarity rate - €12 — Basic rate - €15 — Break-even rate - €18 — Support rate ‘Conscious’ means taking a moment to think about your contribution, taking into account not only your own financial situation but also what the event costs to run and what it enables. Every ticket helps to pay the artists and the people who bring the festival to life, and to fund the technical equipment, materials, security, hospitality and communications. Every price option helps to make the same day happen, in a spirit of cooperation and solidarity. If none of these ticket prices are feasible for you, community tickets are available for those in precarious circumstances and/or facing multiple forms of discrimination: simply send us an email at safer.bxl@lesvolumineuses.org. A short questionnaire will be sent out shortly to help you decide which ticket price is right for you.
