In Bordeaux, gay and LGBT parties are organised by collectives, which change venues from one party to the next. The most regular party is VendrediXXL, the flagship party of the Vendredix collective, held at the Bien Public on Quai Deschamps on the right bank. The Ultra Klubs, on Place André-Meunier, has closed.
Other parties take place at the Mama Shelter, the PULP in Saint-Michel, or on boats on the Garonne. Most take place on Fridays or Saturdays.
