ULTRA LIGHT PLUS

After a few exciting years spent residing in beloved Berlin venues like OHM and Ziegrastraße and guests ranging from Sandwell District to Detroit in Effect - it’s about time ULTRA LIGHT PLUS returns to Pudel again since the last visit in 2019! Headlining the night is Beau Wanzer from Chicago, known for his voluminous output of gritty industrial zombie Electro-Techno (and beyond) on labels such as L.I.E.S, Dark Entries and the likes. As a DJ, Beau knows to surprise the audience with unconventional sets, roving between his influences; occasionally blending in old Punk, Noise and everything in between - one couldn’t ask for a better match! With us from Chile via Berlin, is Diamin who has become a staple for high-class eclectic music selections at Berlin’s finest queer-coded community driven dance nights. Deeply atmospheric, experimentally textured and rhythmically intricate. The Line up is completed by ULP hosts Thomas Hoffmann and Syrtaki, building bridges in sound with a range of genre-and tempo fluent classic, contemporary and experimental bassdrum-centric dance music.
