DRIFT Kyiv for TAG DER CLUBKULTUR FESTIVAL WEEK at Giri “STAY CORE” Born in Kyiv and now based in Berlin, DRIFT Kyiv brings together music, art and diverse communities to ask: what is the core of Berlin’s club culture today? Against the backdrop of Berlin’s elections and a changing cultural landscape, we look back at the city’s DIY, warehouse and donation-based roots while questioning what remains of that spirit. Through a panel talk, DJ sets, performance, zine presentation and visual art, we gather Ukrainian, African, German, queer and other voices to imagine what Berlin’s cultural core could be.
