TOKYOWAVES

This summer, alongside its exhibition season, the Palais de Tokyo is inviting club scene icon Jen Cardini to curate a programme of live performances and DJ sets in its naturally cool basement. A leading figure on the international electronic music scene and a queer icon, Jen Cardini presents ‘Tokyo Waves’, a musical programme that echoes the ‘Normes Corps’ exhibition season: five afternoons of electronic exploration, conceived as a space for gathering, experimentation and knowledge-sharing, bringing together emerging and established artists—both local and international—with diverse aesthetics. Tokyo Waves fosters a dialogue between electronic music and contemporary art by offering, with every ticket purchased, access to the current exhibitions running alongside the event. An invitation to experience the Palais de Tokyo in a different light, for the duration of an afternoon.
