HARD FIST x LA CULOTTÉE : EROL ALKAN, ALEX WILCOX & MORE
Friday 2 October – 11.30 pm–6.00 am HARD FIST x LA CULOTTÉE: EROL ALKAN, ALEX WILCOX, TUSHEN RAÏ b2b CORNELIUS DOCTOR, WARUM b2b CEYDA YAGIZ Some stories should probably end whilst they’re ahead.
Fortunately, nobody warned us. Following on from the Cabaret Sauvage, La Station and a night at Virage in 2023 – memories of which remain relatively hazy – Hard Fist Records & La Culottée are joining forces once again for one of their rare appearances in Paris. At the centre of the vortex: Alex Wilcox. A live set somewhere between mutant techno, ’90s punk, a ramshackle rave and an overheating computer. Raw, unpredictable, euphoric. One of the most thrilling live sets we’ve come across in 2026 — and probably a very bad reason to make any plans for the following morning. Alongside him, Erol Alkan. At the helm of Phantasy Sound, he’s a producer, DJ and the ever-present driving force behind a British scene where electro, house, indie and dance-punk have been happily blending for over two decades. Daft Punk, the Chemical Brothers, Justice and many others have crossed paths with him and shared studios, remixes or decks with him. But Erol remains, above all, a tireless trailblazer, continuing to bring to the fore, via his label, some of the most distinctive voices on the contemporary scene. It’s a way of traversing the ages without nostalgia, with that now rare quality: never sounding like the past. To round off the event, Cornelius Doctor & Tushen Raï are bringing out the big guns. The duo behind Hard Fist will be showcasing their new EP and opening up a few secret passages between trance, EBM, acid, indie dance and other forms of functional psychedelia. Finally, Warum & Ceyda Yagiz will join forces for a brand-new B2B set: deep and sensitive, hypnotic and vibrant. An invitation to let go, blur identities and genres, and let bodies find their own language. Because here, no one waits for peak time to start dancing
