ADELPHES TAKES TO THE STAGE On Sunday 27 September from 7.00 pm, the Cabaret des Merveilles is opening its stage to ten wonderful artists to raise funds for our ADELPHES project 🎸 Come along for a beer and a dance – and who knows, you might just walk away with our top prize in the raffle!! ADELPHES is a queer medium-length film directed by Sasha Pereira, exploring sibling relationships following a gender transition. We’ve been working on this project for a good year now; it tells the story of Oli, a young adult navigating his relationship with his sisters in the wake of his gender transition. Caught between the real and fictional worlds, Oli finds himself by the banks of a stream, where swimming becomes a symbol and crossing it the answer. This is an entirely volunteer-run project, led by a team of passionate professionals keen to tell this important queer story, a narrative rooted in identity and family relationships. This venture follows on from our previous short film, *Too Far Away*. We now wish to take the next step with a more ambitious project, both artistically and technically.
