Carla Bieber & friends

Release party: Carla Biber & Friends 10 October 2026 · 8.00 pm Tickets: €12/€15 👉 bit.ly/4dUq5Nf Join us for a one-of-a-kind event this year, where drummer and singer Carla Biber, surrounded by friends and Belgian artists, will celebrate the release of her first solo EP, “I Might be the Problem”, in a cosy, family-friendly atmosphere! The party promises to be thoroughly pop-inspired and energising, centred on the themes of love and inner dialogue. Three concerts are on the programme, featuring a contagious, joyful and uncompromising musical atmosphere, and the party will conclude with a presentation of Carla’s project. The tracks performed explore both very universal questions of legitimacy in relationships and specifically queer passions and dynamics. Having made a name for herself as a leading figure in jazz drumming in Belgium in recent years through her academic career, she is now making a complete 360-degree shift in her image and showcasing another facet of her compositional talent through this accessible and elegant project, whose first singles “Shy”, “Bada-Boom” ft. Shoko Igarashi and “Danish Girl” are gradually being released on streaming platforms throughout the spring of 2026, in an unstoppable burst of radio-friendly energy, fuelled as much by the sounds of the 1980s as by contemporary autotuned electronic pop, with melodies that are bound to stick in your head by 10 October. Singer, drummer and producer Carla Biber delivers jubilant yet subtle pop, drawing inspiration from the greatest artists. Having appeared in numerous Brussels-based indie projects, Carla is a graduate of the Maastricht Conservatorium and the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, where she became the first woman in the history of both institutions to graduate with a degree in jazz drums (as crazy as that may sound).
